Skywagon City is a small business that sells used parts for Cessna planes. The owner wanted a site that would allow him to display available parts and enable customers to contact him for a quote. It was important that he be able to update the site himself with new parts and specials that came available.

I had a lot of leeway with the design — only the logo and an existing advertisement were pre-designed. The final design uses steel greys and sky blue to reference its aviation roots, with red highlights just for fun.
Parts are arranged in a grid for easy viewing. Arriving at this layout, which needs to be dynamically populated, was harder for me than I’d like to admit. But it was worth it: the end result makes for an easier browsing experience.
And of course, the owner can update all content himself using WordPress’s easy interface.
